About Us
Founded in 2015, Golden Hive Foundation emerged as a common ground for like-minded individuals. Our interest in honey was instantaneous but its processors, the honey bees, were the ones with whom we wished to move ahead ‘slow and steady’ in this fast moving world.
Bringing honey bees to prominence and conserving them became our Foundation’s main purpose. We needed formal experience to influence and convince people and institutions of our ideology and our ability - and it has been quite a ride for the foundation with its highs and lows. However, we continued with our journey and through our ‘awareness, training and innovation’ programmes, were progressively able to convince the world of our belief, intent and competence.

To generate awareness about the amazing role of bees – especially as pollinators and honey producers,

To address the immediate necessity of improving bee ecology.

To practice and promote sustainable beekeeping and to maintain and manage demonstration apiaries.

To conduct training and consultancy assignments and support research in all aspects of honey bee management and conservation.

To promote production of source specific uni-floral honey and assist provide it to the end consumers in its natural, raw, unprocessed and organic form- the way the honey bees made it.
